Mission Statement
Under a charter from the Monterey County Democratic Central Committee, the Salinas Valley Democratic Club fosters and perpetuates the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party in our Community.
Our Values
We believe that our government should be a positive tool for the improvement of our community and society. We endorse equal opportunity for all and special privileges for none. We are passionate for social justice and human rights. We are summoned to civic duty and public service. We embrace a thirst for innovation.
Our Goals
- Elect Democrats and develop candidates for positions at all levels of government
- Increase the Democratic Party’s presence in Salinas and the Salinas Valley
- Network with other Democratic Clubs and Progressive Organizations such as labor unions and the California Democratic Council (CDC) to promote issues and causes important to all of us.
